I think the word you're looking for is overworked not workaholic. Workaholics show up to work early and leave late. They don't want to leave because they love their job. They literally have to be ordered to take a break or vacation.

It says right there that a workaholic thinks about working constantly and feels depressed when there is no work. They also have little interested in anything else but work. In other words, if they aren't working they are sad. That's different than those that are overworked. Those that are overwork hate their jobs but must work to pay the bills.
